Makeup for Photos

Hey Beauties,

Don't we love having our pictures taken?? Whether it's a fun party or photo shoot. Here are some tips on how to look your best in photos.

1)Avoid SPF in your foundation or moisturizer. This will cause a whitish cast on your face especially if you're using flash photography.

2) Use high definition makeup. Check out Make Up For Ever's HD line.

3) Less is not more! More is more! Photoshoot makeup is totally different than street makeup.. you have apply more so it shows up and not get washed out by the lightning.

4)Keep everything matte because shimmers and glitter don't tend to show up as much on photos or film. Too much shimmer or glitter can make your face too shiny.

5)If you're planning on applying makeup on yourself, invest in a good magnifying mirror because cameras tend show the tiniest blemishes and streaks than your bathroom mirror can.

6) Last but not least, test your makeup on camera by checking how it looks on the view screen. This is important for both photography and film. This is when the look really matters. Do any necessary touch-ups. And voila, you're done!
